Here’s a Honeypot
Here’s a Honeypot -
Haven’t had a Honeypot for some time, so here are some links to keep you distracted over the weekend:
STOP Foreclosure
John lost his job six months ago in a round of mass layoffs, and he's been unable to find consistent work since. He and his wife had little in savings, and with every day that passes they're getting further and further behind on their bills.
Two months ago today, Mary's husband walked out on her and the kids. Between childcare costs and other bills, she can barely afford to put food on the table.
Every day thousands of people across the U.S. fall deeper into debt, often through no fault of their own. Left unchecked, this debt ultimately threatens their number one asset, their home, through the process of foreclosure.
It doesn't have to end there, though. There are ways to stop foreclosure, protect your credit and keep your home.
What is Foreclosure?
Just another shift
Last night I finished a full day at uni and went to do a twilight shift at work. 19.00 hours to 02.00 hours.
This morning I was up at 08.30 to get some uni stuff sorted, and then back this afternoon at work for a 1400 hours start. This time though, I didn't know which ward I was to be working on, as I agreed to be the locum HCA. This kinda means that I'm at the beck and call of the staffing managers, and if they say jump, I do kartwheels.
The powers that be sent me onto an orthopaedic ward - could be worse. Familiar faces to work with, a generally nice team.... and the opportunity to soak myself in someone else's urine after the collection bottle used to empty the catheter bag appeared to have a hole in it.
I got absolutely soaked in cold wee, all the way down my tunic top and trousers. I had to rescue my mobile phone from my pocket as it too was covered... Not nice.
The Joys Of Linking
Links make the internet, without a doubt the Internet consist of millions and millions of links. These links form the backbone of the internet and also provide a way for the major search engines to monitor which sites are more important than other ones.
How does this work?
If the main objective of your website/blog is to insure a steady stream of visitors then you are going to have to do some linking.
What are links?
Links are URLs or web addresses like this one www.workconnexions.com That can link a word to a website or the reverse.
How do you get them?
1. A visitor to your website may like what they are reading.. if they like it enough they may decide to put a link on their website or in a blog post to your website.
How hard could it be?
During a break from trying to learn Photoshop CS3, (11 hours straight) I was checking out eBay and thought I would click on 'sell and item' just to see how hard it would be.
Guess what? It ain't. Check out my first 5 items.

These are amazing purses that my sister makes herself. She is the crafty one.
We will see how these go.
